The following are the core beliefs of Father’s House OC, built on the unchanging truth of God’s Word and the historic faith of the Church.
God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — co-equal and co-eternal. He is the Creator of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, justice, mercy, and truth. He is unchanging — the same yesterday, today, and forever — and worthy of all glory, honor, and praise.
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.” — Revelation 4:8

JESUS CHRIST
We believe in Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God — fully God and fully man — conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
He lived a sinless life, revealed the Father’s heart, and willingly gave Himself as the perfect sacrifice for our sins through His death on the cross.
He rose again on the third day, conquering sin and death, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return again in glory to judge the living and the dead. His kingdom will have no end.
“For in Him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell.”
— Colossians 1:19

The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. He dwells within every believer, empowering us to live in holiness, boldness, and love.
The Spirit comforts, convicts, teaches, and leads us into all truth. We believe that the gifts of the Spirit — including prophecy, healing, tongues, discernment, and miracles — are active today for the building up of the Church and the advancement of the gospel. We welcome the Holy Spirit’s presence and power in all that we do.
“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses.” — Acts 1:8

Revelation
God reveals Himself through His creation, through His written Word — the inspired, infallible Scriptures — and ultimately through Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God. The Bible is our final authority in all matters of faith, truth, and life.
“All Scripture is God-breathed and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.”
— 2 Timothy 3:16

Mankind & the Fall
We believe that men and women are created in the image of God, designed for relationship with Him and to reflect His glory on the earth.
Through sin and disobedience, humanity fell from fellowship with God, and every part of creation was affected by this brokenness. But God, rich in mercy, has pursued us with redeeming love through His Son.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23

Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus paid the full penalty for sin, reconciling us to God and offering new life to all who believe.
Those who repent and receive Him as Lord are forgiven, made new, and filled with the Holy Spirit. Salvation is not achieved by works, but results in a transformed life empowered by His Spirit.
“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

The Church
We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ — one holy, universal, and apostolic people — called to make the Father known on the earth.
The Church exists to worship God, proclaim the gospel, disciple believers, and demonstrate His kingdom through love and power. Every follower of Jesus is a vital part of the Church’s mission, equipped by the Holy Spirit with spiritual gifts for the good of others.
“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.”

Resurrection & Eternal Life
We believe in the resurrection of the dead — the redeemed to eternal life and the lost to eternal separation from God.
Jesus will return in glory to restore all things and reign forever. We look for the day when heaven and earth are made new, and God dwells with His people forever.
“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes… for the former things have passed away.” — Revelation 21:4

The Kingdom of God
We believe that the Kingdom of God has come through Jesus Christ — breaking into the present age with power and transforming grace — and will be fully revealed when He returns. Until that day, we live as His ambassadors, partnering with the Holy Spirit to bring heaven to earth in our homes, our city, and the nations.
“Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
— Matthew 6:10
